This version turns the importer into a fuller companion for applying:

• Check your fit: the popup can score the posting you're viewing against your résumé and show a percent match.
• It now recognizes jobs already in your pipeline: you'll see when you applied, the import button becomes "Re-import / update", and a new "Mark as applied" button moves a saved job forward.
• Answer tools: save the answers you type into application forms, get past answers suggested back when a similar question comes up, or draft a new answer with your configured AI provider, streamed live into the popup, with a rewrite option when the tone is off.
• If a form asks for salary expectations, the popup can offer the number you saved in the app.
• Assisted autofill (opt-in, off by default, enabled in the desktop app): "Fill this form" fills empty name, email, phone, and profile-link fields from your saved contact profile, shows exactly what it filled, and never submits anything. Your profile is never stored in the browser.
• Native messaging is now the primary way the extension reaches the desktop app. This fixes connections for profiles with HTTPS-Only Mode enabled; the loopback WebSocket (127.0.0.1) remains as fallback.
• Stronger pairing: a mutual HMAC handshake means the pairing token never crosses the connection at all. Older desktop app versions will ask you to update.

As always: the extension talks only to the AI Job Hunter app on your own computer. No account, no analytics, no third-party servers.

• Works reliably under Firefox HTTPS-Only Mode — the extension now connects to the desktop app via native messaging, so importing keeps working even when strict HTTPS settings would block the local connection.
• Import the selected job directly from board search/list views (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed) — these pages previously imported the wrong posting.
• More reliable pairing, including a clean reset.
• Popup polish: the connecting state is now conveyed by the status indicator alone.
