About this extension

Chat Privacy automatically hides your AI chat history sidebar so conversation titles stay off-screen during screen sharing, online meetings, presentations, recordings, live streams, pair programming, and public or office computer use.

It works on ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Poe, DeepSeek, Grok, Tencent Yuanbao, and GitHub Copilot.

Key features:

Hides chat history before the page finishes rendering, preventing titles from briefly flashing on screen.
Lets you show or hide chats on demand with a small sidebar button.
Provides an optional draggable page bubble as a backup toggle.
Remembers your preferences using Firefox extension storage.
Runs locally with no analytics, tracking, advertising, or collection or transmission of personal data.

Chat Privacy does not read, upload, analyze, sell, or share chat content. It only controls the local display state of chat-history lists on supported sites.
