CoreAsia Download Manager turns your browser into a one-click front end for the free CoreAsia Download Manager desktop app. browse normally, and when there's a file worth grabbing, hand it to the desktop app — which manages the transfer with a resilient : faster, resumable, and neatly organized in one place.

This is a COMPANION to that desktop app. The app performs all transfers; the extension detects and forwards links/media on the page you're viewing, and — when you enable Capture — can take over browser-initiated downloads and route them to the app instead. Fully under your control.

What it does
• Send any download to the app — floating button, toolbar popup, or right-click menu. Paste a link directly too.
• Catch downloads automatically (optional) — take over a site's own download and route it to the app, with "ask me first" or "right away". On by default, fully controllable, clearly disclosed.
• Pick what to grab — page picker for images, files, or media, with quality / audio-only options where supported.

How it works
• All communication is LOCAL, over http://127.0.0.1:15151 (loopback), between the extension and the desktop app on the same computer.
• No cloud backend, no account, no remote server, no analytics or tracking inside the extension. Nothing about your browsing, links, or cookies is sent to CoreAsia or any third party.

Requirements
• The free CoreAsia Download Manager desktop app (macOS) must be installed and running. Get it at https://coreasia.id/products/downloader — free to download with a 3-day trial; a one-time $29 license unlocks continued use. Without the app, the button simply shows "app not running."
