DOI Fetcher is designed to retrieve and display article metadata from a DOI. By default, this extension does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information with third parties.

• The DOI or DOI URL entered by the user
• The user's last input, stored locally in the browser only so it can be shown again later

• User input is used only to look up and retrieve article metadata
• Requests are sent only to public services related to DOI resolution and metadata, including:
• doi.org
• api.crossref.org
• api.datacite.org
• api.openalex.org

What Is Not Collected
- Personally identifiable information
- Browsing history
- Web page content
- Analytics, advertising, or tracking data

Data Retention
- Data stored by the extension is limited to the user's last input in the browser's local storage
- The user can remove this information by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling the extension
