At least one matching Gemini tab must remain open for manual and automatic updates. When multiple Google accounts are used, their data is stored and displayed separately according to the respective Gemini account path. No additional or minimized helper window is opened.
Usage data and settings remain stored locally in the browser. The extension does not transmit usage information, chat content, or login credentials to external services. The Google account must be signed in within Firefox.
Gemini Limit Watcher is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with Google. Changes to Gemini, its internal interfaces, or its page structure may temporarily affect detection.

The extension uses an already open tab on
gemini.google.com to read the usage information provided for the signed-in account. It primarily evaluates the usage data loaded by Gemini directly. If the plan cannot be identified reliably but valid usage limits are available, Free is shown as a fallback.At least one matching Gemini tab must remain open for manual and automatic updates. When multiple Google accounts are used, their data is stored and displayed separately according to the respective Gemini account path. No additional or minimized helper window is opened.
