About this extension
Mail OTP Autofill surfaces the one-time verification code from your email the moment it arrives, and lets you copy it or autofill it into the site you're on - no more tabbing back and forth to your inbox.
Two ways to get codes:
• Webmail tab - reads new mail from your own webmail server (mailcow/SOGo) using your existing logged-in session. No credentials stored.
• Native app (optional) - a small open-source local companion app watches your mailbox over IMAP (any provider, via an app password) and pushes codes even when no webmail tab is open. IMAP passwords are kept in your OS keychain.
When a code arrives, you get a compact popup with the code, a Copy button, and one-click Autofill that types it into the verification field (works with single fields and split 6-box inputs).
Privacy first: no analytics, no tracking, and no remote servers operated by this project. Codes and credentials
never leave your device except the normal connection to your own mail server.
