About this extension
Get instant access to live Vedic astrology planetary positions directly from Mozilla Firefox.
The Moon Dasha Live Planetary Positions extension uses your current location, local date, time, and timezone to calculate an accurate snapshot of the present sky. Open the extension to see a compact table containing the Ascendant, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu.
Each planetary position includes its degree within the current zodiac sign, sign name, Nakshatra, Pada, and daily speed. Retrograde planets are clearly identified with an “R” indicator, making it easy to recognize backward motion at a glance. The calculations use the sidereal zodiac with Lahiri ayanamsha and the D1 chart, following commonly used Vedic astrology conventions.
This extension is useful for Jyotish practitioners, astrology students, spiritual seekers, and anyone who wants to check the current movement of the grahas without repeatedly entering their location, date, and time. Use it while studying gochar, reviewing daily horoscopes, observing retrograde periods, comparing current transits with a birth chart, or planning an astrological or spiritual practice.
Simply select the extension icon and the latest planetary positions are displayed within seconds. You can refresh the table at any time to retrieve updated results.
Your coordinates are used only to determine the correct timezone and calculate location-specific planetary positions. They are not stored by the extension.
Planetary calculations are provided using the same data system as this: https://moondasha.com/planetary-positions
