No problems my end with Internet connection. - Rated 1 out of 5by Michael Banks, 9 years agoI am not happy at all. I have been using Firefox for years with out a hitch. Going to ver. 8 has really confused me. If I understand the setup correctly, 1) because of the conversion to a new data format I have to open a new data account to keep the old data and new data separate.
Fine I think I understand that. The problem is 2) I can not use my email address that I have used for years. I don't have an additional address. If I uses my current address then it merges the two databases. The blending of both databases could make my data unusable. Then I have zip. I don't want zip, I'd like to use Roboform. Please have one of your techs give me some options on how to correct or work around this issue. Don't put this out as a review. Just list it as an issue I'm having a problem with. Thank you.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13401355, 9 years ago1) Lower toolbar does NOT show logins for the window with focus. I have a window minimized and that is the one that is showing in the lower toolbar. When I click on a tab in this window that requires entry of a password, the RoboForm entry for the minimized window still shows. It is worse than useless.
2) More often than not, when I select the login information from the 'lower toolbar' the information is NOT inserted into the fields. I have to open the editor and copy and paste the information that I need to put into the fields.
I really should go back to RoboForm Version 7 even if it does stop working with Firefox soon, it is way more useful and less annoying than this version 8.4.1.1
Once the 30 day trial runs out, I will definitely be looking into a different Password Manager that works with Firefox. (Unless Siber Systems can resolve these show stopper problems before then.) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13401224, 9 years agoMade safer w second level "passcode" to access codes. Convenient, and great for keeping track of all the passwords needed for the real world. Password generator excellent feature.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Professor, 9 years agoI have used Roboform for roughly 10 years. I think it is essential, as I now have 1000's of passwords, some of which cannot be memorized. Roboform is always changing -- sometimes on the top, sometimes on the bottom, sometimes with a right-click. It is a never-ending process of discovery. Roboform is also a constant nag. Roughly every few days, Roboform starts a very intrusive process of nagging for an update. As I use Roboform on several PC's, and my wife also uses it on several PC's, a nag every week results in a huge number of operations. To make things worse, Roboform shuts down many other processes while updating.
Roboform certainly has bugs - -and they keep changing -- when a browser is updated, then Roboform needs to be updated too. Not all are fixed - but the remaining ones are annoyances.
It is hard to know how secure Roboform is. It is troublesome that all of my passwords are stored in the cloud. The folks that hacked the CIA, can probably hack Roboform as well. - Rated 1 out of 5by BD3, 9 years agoThe latest version now has a lower toolbar that covers important FF info and even if you turn it off in settings in the extension and close your browser, it comes back. this needs to be fixed asap!
