Our Extension "SerpX" is a client-side tool for analyzing search results. Data privacy is ensured by its software architecture:

• Local Processing & Storage: All search results you extract, as well as notes, UI settings, and your API keys, are stored exclusively locally within your browser. No project data is sent to Wingmen servers.
• API Usage (Optional): The extension transmits data (URLs) to third parties only if you actively use external analysis features (such as Sistrix or Google PageSpeed Insights) and provide your own API keys. These requests are made directly from your browser to the respective providers.
• Technical Interactions: To enable on-page analysis, the extension opens target URLs in browser tabs and injects an overlay for notes. These requests are made from your IP address directly to the target website.
• Permissions: The extension requests access rights to website data (<all_urls>) solely to extract SERP data, display the analysis overlay, and enable communication with the APIs you have configured.
