    Version 1.4

    Released Jul 6, 2026 - 28.32 KB
Works with firefox 140.0 and later
    What's New in Version 1.4:

Multi-Instance Support: Added a new dropdown menu in the popup! You can now easily switch between 6 reliable Invidious instances (Nadeko, NerdVPN, ChocolateMoo, Tiekoetter, F5, Zoomerville). Your preferred instance is remembered automatically across sessions.

Smart Livestream Bypass: Since Invidious often does not support YouTube livestreams, the extension now automatically detects blocked or unsupported livestreams and seamlessly bounces you back to native YouTube so you can watch without getting stuck in an error screen.

Status Indicator Badge: Added a clean, minimalist green dot to the extension icon. You can now easily tell if the redirector is active at a glance without having to open the menu.

    Under the Hood Improvements:

Transitioned from static to dynamic routing rules to allow for on-the-fly instance switching without needing to restart the browser.

Upgraded the Auto-Reload error detection to correctly identify new "video append" and "livestream disabled" error strings from recent Invidious backend updates.
