Required permissions:
Access browser tabs
Access your data for all websites
Especially this last one gives you opportunity to steal whatever information I do with my browser e.g. when I type credit card numbers or do web site logins etc.
If you can narrow to access only the listed AI sites then it sounds more secure.
---------
Edit after developer response:
You said you want to "avoid triggering a new permission popup every time a new AI site is added"
There are only handful of AI websites so not a big or frequent task.
This is a typical example of how, in the name of so-called "ease of use" or a "smooth user experience," essential security risks are ignored.
I understand that there are users who don’t care about security at all until the lack of it hits them personally. I’m not one of them.
If you want to improve the extension so that everyone is happy, then add a configuration option:
“Allow on all sites” vs. “Ask for permission separately for each site.”

posted 10 months agoI can assure you that scripts are only injected into AI chat websites, not anywhere else. The reason the permission scope looks broad is simply to avoid triggering a new permission popup every time a new AI site is added.
That said, I fully respect your choice. Bye.

- Rated 3 out of 5by tapafon, 2 months agoGemini works, but ChatGPT is broken. I never used (and won't use anymore due to ethical issues) other mainstream platforms, so I can't say anything about them.
Btw, to save full chat, you have to scroll all the way up in Gemini, until it loads everything. - Rated 1 out of 5by quannd, 2 months agoI cannot Export ChatGpt session in Windows 10, Firefox latest version, I had disabled all block on all domain in site *.saveai.net

- Rated 5 out of 5by CyberSimon, 4 months agoAmazing add-on! Quickly exports a single chat history to a ton of formats (Markdown is my favorite, but PDF is very handy too) A must have to archive import chat sessions without the rigamarole of Google Takeout.

Please fix it! It's the best extension for exporting chats, but it needs fixing. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16431646, 5 months agoit works perfectly for Gemini and ChatGPT (I did not try others), but I would like for it to work on Lumo by Proton, a privacy save AI.
