by Duser, 5 years agoThis is a well made app and does what it does very well. it keeps track of the time you spend on sites you whitelist in the extension page and forces you to acknowledge how much time you're spending on these sites. Recommended! I especially love how it blurs the site in the background instead of taking you to a new tab. Aesthetic and functional.
Just one small feature request for the dev: add an option to play a game before selecting a time to unlock a site for. It's too easy to just select a time limit and keep on browsing; i would like for example the user to write a sentence in order to unlock the ability to extend the time.

- Rated 4 out of 5by guy who foxes, 2 months agoReally great extension! Been using it the past week or so to manage my usage with one website.
There is already a good amount of customization to be had; however, I wish there was just a little bit more there. For example, I wish that, when you start a productive session, you could move around where the intention is on the screen rather than have it on the bottom (inconvenient for me when I do use my distracting website), or at least have a setting to change the position to top, bottom, left, right, etc. I would also like to see the ability to customize how long automatic cooldowns last (they're currently 30 seconds). And it would be nice to see some sort of protection against changing the settings, like waiting for a timer or having to put in a password. I've had to manage the easy access to the extension's settings using another app blocker to stop myself from removing the website from my distracting sites list.
Overall, love the concept of this and have been finding success with another small modification using an app blocker on my part, but would just like to see the ability to further customize features and settings. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19921368, 2 months ago

I've tried all the similar extensions I can find & this is by far the best imho.
Just wish it had more configuration options, like changing the time amounts presented on the buttons, adjusting the cool down, etc. - Rated 5 out of 5by Neil, 4 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by John, a year agoI was looking for an app similar to Screen Zen which I used on android and this works just as well. Helped me go from 2-4 hours of YouTube every day to about 50 minutes a day, the fact that it shows you your time for the day makes you more aware of the amount of time you waste on useless videos, which helped me start to bring down my time from 50 minutes to about 20 minutes in the past few weeks. This extension really helped me make another big step in my life.
