Video DownloadHelper is simply the best extension of it's type. It works every time, on every site I've tried it on. I can't say that about any other extensions I've tried, and I've tried a bunch.

Add-on is super powerful. Most of the time it "just works." I upgraded to the premium option mainly to support their work and I hope they never go away. The previous major revision (9) had some difficulty with certain sites, requiring some interesting workarounds. However, version 10 has fixed that for all the sites where I would like to use this add-on. Also, after engaging the devs with questions I am impressed by their responsiveness and clear communication. Deserves all 5 stars, and maybe an extra just for being a cool bunch of people.
