posted 7 months agoThat's not right. We do have a free plan that costs $0 and allows you to secure your internet connection with no ads, no logs, and provides the same level of privacy and security as our paid plans. Anyone can sign up for our free plan, and we don't ask for any payment details during signup (https://protonvpn.com/free-vpn). You can navigate to https://protonvpn.com/support/browser-extensions for more details on how to use the Proton VPN browser extension.
That said, some features are available exclusively on our paid plans so as to achieve a balance between offering a free service and providing added benefits to our paid subscribers.

In the start it worked without no problems but after restarting it for the first time the extensions begans to having problems, i couldn't acess any website in the browser however the Wi-Fi was perfectly outside it, i couldn't even properly remove it i needed to enter troubleshooting mode and after go directly to the folder and remove it, by the way this only happens with ProtonVPN since windscribe works perfectly fine for me.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by Otter, 10 days agoThe extension worked fine while on windows 11. But as soon as I switched to EndeavourOS, it just stopped. It fails to connect to servers, leaving me either with no internet on my browser, or to browse unprotected. This sucks even more because I'm a paying customer (unlimited).

- Rated 5 out of 5by Mindaugas, 13 days agoA favorite servers section would be nice, so it would be faster to choose than from the list.

It just keep trying to load for eternity without anything happening. The only other security/privacy add-on I have is UBO and my browser is up to date.

- Rated 5 out of 5by GravityPopsicle, 18 days agoI love Proton VPN! Yes, it requires an account but it is so easy to make one and the unlimited free data is just too good of a deal for a (currently) brokie like me :p
