by Firefox user 18542402, 2 years agoI have a very long history (several years) of working with Video DownloadHelper (VDH). In the beginning, it was the perfect app for me to use to download pretty much any video I wanted to, and in some cases converting a video to audio.
I have noticed an increasing number of videos that require an external app loaded to complete the conversion that used to be handled solely by the VDH. I don't feel comfortable installing more apps on my computer that I don't know just on someone's say so. As a result I'm unable to use VDH for most of my needs.

- Sneaky new change where it forces you to pay after a few uses. The actual audacity that they have to ask for money in this manner; especially for something so basic a dozen other extensions also do.
Very good extension before this change, but after this? No chance, immediately removed!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Qoolize, 2 days agoWell, that's it for the last update. Two videos, then premium is required or wait. Hopefully the number of uninstalls will go up very quickly and something else will be found. The developer will see what he gets out of it, it's his own fault.
