by KnOwlEdge, 3 months agoWhile in the past you could choose ANY folder in your PC as download folder for this app, since a while it forces you to choose either the default Windows Downloads folder or a subfolder of it.
And contrarily to the past, it also COMPLETELY bypasses the Firefox setting to "ask every time", i.e. even if you have this option active in the Firefox settings, while you use this app there is no popup to choose where to download.
There's the option "Download as" but that too, the lazy dev didn't even noticed that there's a but that lets the download start immediately without any popup. You have to stop the download and there it opens the popup.
MENTAL!!!
For me 10001% USELESS as of now, and I VERY DEEPLY resent the dev for this. SHAME ON YOU!!!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Qoolize, 2 hours agoWell, that's it for the last update. Two videos, then premium is required or wait. Hopefully the number of uninstalls will go up very quickly and something else will be found. The developer will see what he gets out of it, it's his own fault.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Benio, 4 days agoThis extension "was" awesome. It worked really great and I used it daily to download my favorite videos. However after the last updates or so... it starts behaving weird. I figured that the extension wants you to pay. I know that the developer needs money somehow, but I can't accept it when you turn a free extension into paid without telling anyone! Talk abut enshittification. I am now still using this extension but I uninstalled the recent version, replaced it with the older version and turned automatic updates. It worked well as expected and I could still enjoy it for free.
